This year on Hoshana Rabba we went to the Western Wall before sunrise to take part in the special Shacharit service, which ends with the beating of the willow branches on the ground. Since the broken leaves from the beating of the willows are well-known as a special segula for protection, we collected hundreds of them and prepared these beautiful laminated cards, which can be hung in your car or elsewhere by punching a hole in the spot marked by a red dot.
According to Kabbalah, the beating of the five willow branches at the end of the Hoshana Rabba service one "sweetens the Five Severities." This laminated card contains a broken leaf widely known as a protection for travelers.
Features Tefillat HaDerech on the reverse (see Additional Images).
